Injury worry for Arsenal

Injured Adebayor: will not be playing against Untied for the FA Cup

Manchester United Fans should be relieved as Arsenal are hit with injuries again. This time Wenger said he was doubtful about the fitness of defenders Gael Clichy and Philippe Senderos, striker Emmanuel Adebayor and midfielder Matthieu Flamini with various 'joint and muscle' problems. Wenger said he is definitely without midfielder Tomas Rosicky, forwards Theo Walcott, Robin van Persie, midfielders Bacary Sagna and Denilson.
Therefore,Arsenal is down to the bare bones of just 14 players so everybody travels to Old Trafford.
It should be a rather easy FA Cup game for United as they have both Wayne Rooney and Evra back from suspension.

Torres and Drogba dearly Missed

0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge as there were no finishers at both teams

Chelsea failed to turn up the heat on Barclays Premier League title rivals Manchester United and Arsenal as they stumbled to a goalless draw against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues had been boosted by Manchester United's defeat at the hands of Manchester City earlier in the day and although the draw enabled them to increase their unbeaten home league sequence to 76 matches, the Londoners may yet come to rue their inability to put Liverpool's season to the sword.

A disappointing match, littered with sloppy passing and dominated at either end by uncompromising defences, provided for a forgettable stalemate.

Avram Grant's side had been lifted by the return of midfielder Frank Lampard but his contribution was to end in the second half with the England international clearly not fully match-fit.

Chelsea's early fire soon burnt itself out and it was Liverpool who began to dominate proceedings. Yet their final ball into the danger area left a lot to be desired.

But a cross from Steve Finnan in the 14th minute did allow the giant frame of Peter Crouch to head wide of the target from six yards.

It was Crouch who should have put the visitors in front in the 17th minute when he combined cleverly with Ryan Babel before driving a low left-foot drive wide of Petr Cech's upright.

Kevin Keegan.... - under great fire?

Kevin Keegan - Under pressure

Newcastle United manager Kevin Keegan has urged his players not to be down after a tough start to his reign.

The Magpies head for Aston Villa on Saturday still awaiting their first victory four matches after the 56-year-old's arrival.

However, the Magpies were thrashed by Aston Villa 4-1 despite having Owen scoring the opener.

Days will be tough for Kevin Keegan and his team if he does not start winning.
